The Princess Without a Name

A world premiere staged reading in French only. Based on a story by the author of Cinderella, The Princess Without a Name has been reimagined by Theatre Exaltemps. In this classic tale from French literature, a young princess is pressured to marry her father when her mother dies.  To escape such a fate, her fairy godmother suggests she run away. After obtaining the donkey hide that is the source of the kingdom’s riches, she dons the skin only to be cruelly rejected by the population who taunt her with an ugly word.
