Ever since he was little, Adam Blanshay danced and sang along with all the classic Broadway musicals. Today his dream has come true, as he has become one of Broadway’s most active show producers.
Among his successes are several classic musicals : Evita, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, with its all-Canadian cast. Not only is he producing in New York, but he’s also presented work in London’s West End with the play His Greatness.
It’s at CETM during the Next Wave Festival that Adam Blanshay will talk about what he does and share his vision of today’s professional theatre scene as part of our educational series. He’ll answer questions and tell us about the vital and often misunderstood role of producer.
